Even though our funding has been drastically reduced, the Founders' Days Committee is busy getting ready for the 63rd Annual Founders' Days parade taking place on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 and we hope you will be too. We believe the theme this year will inspire everyone and you can come up with some great ideas. Founders' Days have their dreams and wishes too, and imagine that this historical event will go on forever. Our parade is made up of bands, music groups and floats from churches, businesses, community organizations and civic groups from Deerfield Beach and surrounding communities.We invite your business, group or organization to enter a float or decorated vehicle for the occasion.
Once again this year we will highlight our 9th annual bedrace which will immediately precede the parade.
The parade will line up at Pioneer Park, go East on Hillsboro Blvd., North on AIA, around the pier then South along the beach. Sincerely,

Each entry consists of one "dreamer" (rider) and 1 or 2 sets of four nightmares (pushers). Registration fee is $25.00. (Ask us about making a bed for you.) We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, staffed by volunteers. Our mission is to carry on the celebration of our founders, improving our festival each year, and to give financial support to local charities, school and youth groups, and civic organizations. We have a lot of fun in the work we do, and are always looking for volunteers to come on board, as well as Sponsors to help us in our endeavor.
